We would like to thank everyone who soldiered through the elements for our spinathon in aid of the Irish Red Cross. For 6 hours people pushed through 30 minutes sessions with over 100 people participating in total. We cant forget the instructors Adrian, Dan and Darren who put the people through their paces on the day. Each team had a selected team leader of which were a local celebrity of some sort, 2 of which were our own members Karen Sheehan and Tadgh Carroll. Even though the weather wasn’t great, the support was. There was over 3,300 euro raised on the day. Thank you everyone who volunteered, participated or donated. And a Big congratulation to Mary Carey and her Team for organising such a well run event.
